Once upon a time, there was an old man and his wife. One day he came
across a wounded sparrow. He brought the sparrow to his house and treated it then tamed
it. But when he was out, the sparrow ate starch made by his wife. She got angry and
cut the tongue of the sparrow. The sparrow was wounded again, and flew away.
When he came back, he found that sparrow was lost. He looked for the
sparrow thoroughout the mountains, and finally found the hidden kingdom of sparrow. The
sparrows gave him a warm reception. When he wanted to go home, the sparrows proposed him a
present. They revealed two boxes, one was small and the other was large. He choose
small one, because he was old and couldn't carry much. After he came back, he found the
box full of gold.
He was pleased, but his wife got angry because he chose the small box.
So she beat the location of the kingdom from him, and went there to get more gold. Though
the sparrows tried to give a warm reception to her, she rejected it, and wanted only the
big box. Of course the bigger box was very heavy, and she got tired on the way home, so
took a rest and opened the box. The box was not full of gold, instead it was full of
grotesque monsters that assaulted and killed her.
